About Us
Begun in 1935 as the premier bridal and school photography studio, Smith Studio (formerly Smith Waller Studio) has expanded and continued to grow and refine. We are members of Wedding & Portrait Photographer International and Professional Photographers of North Carolina and continue to stay abreast of the constant changes in the industry, both in technique and trend. Our 6000 square foot studio was designed and outfitted for the maximum in dramatic and cozy settings. Our curved staircase and two story palladian window are particularly popular with brides and families. Outside, we have specific environments to compliment our portraits.
